Where the voice and pelvic health connect — through science, story, policy, and whole-body healing.
The Vocal Pelvic Floor is a podcast about using voice as a tool for change—inside the body, inside healthcare, and across policy making and culture.
Hosted by Dr. Ginger Garner, a doctor of physical therapy, pelvic health specialist, and integrative care advocate, this podcast brings honest, necessary, and often-overlooked conversations about pelvic health into the open. But pelvic health is not just a clinical issue. It is also a policy issue, a storytelling issue, a justice issue, and a deeply human one.
Each episode brings together clinicians, researchers, policy experts, filmmakers, advocates, artists, and patients with lived experience to explore the conditions, systems, and stories that shape pelvic health. Topics include endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, bladder and bowel health, sexual wellness, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, menopause, trauma-informed care, whole-body movement, medical gaslighting, access to care, and the cultural silence that keeps too many people suffering alone.
The Vocal Pelvic Floor means giving language to what has been dismissed, hidden, stigmatized, or misunderstood. It means recognizing that the voice and the pelvic floor are both connected to breath, safety, expression, power, and agency. And it means helping people reclaim not only function and comfort, but also confidence, pleasure, movement, and self-trust.
Through science, story, advocacy, and practical tools, this podcast helps listeners better understand their bodies, ask better questions, seek the care they deserve, and become part of a larger movement to change how pelvic health is seen, heard, treated, and believed.
If you’ve ever been told to “just live with it,” The Vocal Pelvic Floor is here to help you find your voice—and use it.
